Teerink said this when she met the prime minister at her office in the parliament complex. Briefing reporters after the meeting, the prime minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the EU envoy said the EU was the biggest export destination for Bangladesh and advocated for enhancing trade between Bangladesh and EU member countries for mutual benefits. Addressing the envoys, the prime minister invited EU investors to invest in Bangladesh, including joint venture projects. Talking about elections, she said the people, particularly the women and young generation, had voted for Awami League in the 11th general polls.
