European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) in Libya announced on Sunday the inauguration of the Libyan Border Guard Training Center. “We are very happy to announce the inauguration of the Libyan Border Guard Training center after a long and fruitful cooperation with the Libyan Border Guards. “EUBAM is very proud for the successful cooperation with the Libyan authorities to establish this state-of-the-art training centre. It will also serve to train staff coming from east and south regions of Libya,” EUBAM said in a statement. “Together, we will transform borders from barriers into bridges for prosperity and peace”, says Jerome Buaillon, head of EUBAM Libya operations.
