Between 13 and 14 May 2023, the Ethiopian Space Science Society (ESSS) held its 18th General Assembly at the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology, making it Ethiopia’s most prominent space gathering. In addition, the assembly encompassed several scientific sessions, a meeting of the ESSS Branch Association Leaders, dedicated sessions for youth and children, and active participation from students, space enthusiasts, experts, and industry leaders nationwide. With a shared vision of advancing space science in Ethiopia, this gathering marked a significant milestone in the journey of ESSS and its dedicated leaders working together toward a common goal.
