EPRDF Going Off-Track, Says TPLF OfficialBy Staff ReporterOctober 21, 2019 (Ezega.com) -- The ruling Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) has not only retreated from our guiding principles, but it is also off-track in its political course, risking the nation into disintegration, a senior TPLF official said. In an interview with Dimtsi Weyane, an Executive Committee member of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), Getachew Reda, said “let’s not forget many ethnic Tigrayans, Amhara and Oromo. The move to form a single multinational party seems to have won the hearts of other members and allied political parties of the EPRDF. Tigray, under the TPLF, has been drifting away into semi-autonomous rule since Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed assumed power in April 2018. A member of the EPRDF in name only, the TPLF is currently the odd-man-out among EPRDF member parties.
