EMF seeks to increase customers to 10 million at total funding of EGP 30bn within four years: chairperson - Daily News Egypt
The Egyptian Microfinance Federation (EMF) aims to increase its customer base to 10 million, with total funds of EGP 30bn, within a maximum of four years, according to the head of the federation, Mona Zulficar. Category “A” includes 13 associations with microfinance portfolios of EGP 50m or more. Category “B” includes 18 associations and foundations with microfinance portfolios ranging from EGP 10m to less than EGP 50m. These associations’ portfolios amount to EGP 143m, serving 178,000 customers. These associations’ portfolios amount to EGP 392m, serving 124,000 customers.
