Per a press released provided to Forbes, the first-ever Street Fighter V Invitational will begin on March 27 with preliminary rounds, and it will run through March 30. It will feature 32 of the best SFV players in the world. The 32 professional SFV players will be chosen based on their standings on the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour. The other 16 players will gain entry upon receiving a special invitation from Capcom, the publisher of the Street Fighter series. Live competitions will be held on the following dates, with each broadcasting live on TBS and Twitch at 10 pm ET.
