By EDITORIALMore by this AuthorThe suspension of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya’s elections on Friday following a court order is a major setback for Kenyan sports. A directive by the International Olympic Committee last year had enabled Nock to get a constitution. The IOC wanted all the federations that took part in the constitution review to participate in the Nock elections. While changes are required at Nock, the organisation requires good leadership to transform it. Kenya is supposed to prepare for the Commonwealth Youth Games in Bahamas and next year’s Commonwealth Games in Australia but that is not happening because of the paralysis.
