Twenty-two law enforcers will be assigned to 88 general voting centres. A 10-member RAB team will be active in each general ward. For every two general wards, a platoon of 29 BGB personnel will remain on duty. For the election, 425 presiding officers, 2,761 assistant presiding officers, 5,522 polling officers were appointed to conduct the voting. About 1.14 million are expected to cast their vote for seven mayoral, 84 reserved and 254 general ward seats in the Gazipur polls.
