Heads of state from the EAC member states will converge in Arusha, Tanzania, on Friday for the 20th Ordinary Summit of the EAC Heads of State summit. EAC Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohamed said all EAC partner states have confirmed attendance. Read: Ruto, Museveni talk trade, EAC integration in EntebbeThe meeting will also review the decisions of previous heads of state summit especially on textiles and apparel sectors, leather sector, and motor vehicle sector amongst others. He said the EAC remains the most integrated bloc in Africa and member states are committed to the process of integration. He said EAC partner states have substantially invested in infrastructural products that have enhanced connectivity and reduced the cost of doing business in the region.
