There have been rumblings about this for a little while now, but it appears the information dam is starting to break. We are allegedly about to get a surprise new game from Respawn, a Titanfall battle royale game made for EA as a side project as they continue to work on Jedi Fallen Order. The game is reportedly called Apex Legends, and though it’s set in the Titanfall universe, may not actually be using Titans at all. Instead, the game is a class-based battle royale title with squads of three. EA has yet to produce a contender in the battle royale game, since Battlefield V’s battle royale mode was delay until well, pretty soon here, meaning it will launch close to Apex Legends.
