Longtime fans of the MVP Baseball series have been waiting for Electronic Arts to release another baseball game since 2005. “We are delighted and honored to partner with Electronic Arts to distribute our baseball game directly to EA’s biggest fans,” said OOTP Developments CEO and lead developer Markus Heinsohn. “The Origin platform benefits from adding an award-winning baseball strategy game, and we at Out of the Park Developments gain a new audience to interact with on a daily basis. While this is a move for the PC/Steam platform, console fans will wonder if this is a precursor to a return of the MVP Baseball series for EA Sports. There's an obvious void to fill for XBox fans as the very popular MLB The Show is a Sony exclusive.
