The CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas, Pablo Ceriani, reinforced the interest in two new commercial jets for the fleet of the state carrier. Currently, Aerolíneas operates a fleet of 26 first-generation E190 jets, whose retirement was considered by the previous management, although they are relatively new aircraft, with an average age of 12 years. Four months ago, Ceriani had said that he was also analyzing the Airbus A220, but considered the transition to the E195-E2 more natural for crew and maintenance teams.
