KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian company E-Plus Global Sdn Bhd has secured a five-year contract extension as the rights holder for the FIM Asia Supermoto Championships, which is set to become one of the premier events in the world next season. E-Plus Global chief executive officer Andrew Chieng said the company will assume full control of the event from next year. Global have been sharing the rights with Bike Nation Sdn Bhd under the Asia Supersports Group (ASG) banner since 2015,"Obviously we are very happy to secure the extension with an option to sign for another five years. "It is good to see a series, organised by a Malaysian company, that is gaining popularity. “We hope the grand finale will continue to be held in Malaysia in the coming seasons,” he said.
