PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday led the condemnation of six smuggled luxury vehicles and 116 motorcyles worth P34.71 million. They were the second batch of smuggled vehicles that the Customs bureau destroyed on orders of the President to teach technical smugglers a lesson. Customs records showed that cars and motorcycles arrived on separate dates at the Manila International Container Port, Port of Subic, Port of Cebu, and Port of Iloilo. On February 6, the President also led to the condemnation of 20 smuggled luxury vehicles at the Port Manila worth P61.626 million. On the same day, 10 other smuggled vehicles were also simultaneously destroyed at the Ports of Davao and of Cebu.
