“Truth be told, you may not have noticed, in a month, he (Duterte) does a Mindanao leg for week. You don’t know but he was there, working,” Go, who is close to the President, told reporters. Malacañang, however, deflected concerns that the decision for Duterte to slow down could be related to a serious illness. He said there would be more meetings with MNLF officials in the weeks to come. Asked on how long Duterte’s rest will be, Go said he will stay in Davao until Thursday.
