President Rodrigo Duterte’s net satisfaction rating recovered in September after plunging to a record low in the previous quarter, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed. The noncommissioned Third Quarter Social Weather Report, conducted from Sept. 15 to 23, found that 70 percent of the respondents were satisfied with the President, while 16 percent were dissatisfied, resulting in a net satisfaction rating (satisfied minus dissatisfied) of a “very good” +54. He had a “very good” +56 rating in March. ‘Bastos’The President also improved his net satisfaction rating among Class D, or the “masa” (+56 from +43), but fell sharply among Classes ABC (+41 from +66) and Class E (+45 from +52). ADVERTISEMENTOn the President’s pronouncement that “God is stupid,” SWS results showed that 83 percent of the respondents found it vulgar.
