MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed another retired military official to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Duterte named former Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Maj. Gen. Rene Glen Paje as DSWD undersecretary. Last month, the President appointed former Assistant Division Commander of the Mechanized Infantry Division of the Philippine Army Felicisimo Budiongan as DSWD undersecretary.
