Duterte OKs law to create PHilippine training centerBy RALPH VILLANUEVAhome/Sports/Top Sports/Duterte OKs law to create PHilippine training centerPRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law establishing the Philippine Sports Training Center (PTSC) which will be the official home and primary venue of the development of athletes included in the country’s national teams. Duterte signed Republic Act no. 11214, or the PTSC Act, on February 14, copies of which were given five days after. The state of the art training center will also contribute to sports science and research as the national sports training institution. Under the measure, the center will be built within a year and a half, after six months of planning.
