President Rodrigo Duterte’s net worth in 2017 went up by more than P1 million based on his latest Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN ), released by the Ombudsman on Friday. The President’s net worth was at P28.54 million by December 31, 2017. This is P1,111,458.63 higher than his net worth of P27.82 million in December 2016. His assets grew from P28.428 million in 2016 to P29.34 million in 2017 after his cash on hand increased from P18,453,862.44 in 2016 to P19,365,321.07 in 2017. The President’s only liability, according to his SALN, is a personal loan of P1 million from Davao businessman Samuel Uy.
