Slain Dusit D2 Riverside attack Mastermind Salim Ali Gichunge's mum has been released on a one million shillings cash bail. Sakina Abdalla was charged with failing to disclose information to police about Gichunge's whereabouts. It was alleged that on diverse dates between 2015 and 2019 at Kula Mawe area in Isiolo County, in breach of her duty as a parent she failed to disclose information about her son to police. The prosecution has argued that had she disclosed the information, this could have been used to prevent the Dusit attack. Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku ordered her to pay one million shillings cash bail or an alternative bond of two million shillings.
