ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Akram Durrani on Thursday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for an inquiry into the accumulation of assets beyond means case. Durrani was earlier directed by the anti-graft watchdog to appear before it on April 11. Sources said Durrani was handed over a questionnaire by NAB over his alleged involvement in corruption. He served as federal minister for Housing and Works, in the Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018. Last year, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal had ordered an inquiry against Akram Khan Durrani over misuse of power and illegal allotment of plots.
