All-star forward Kevin Durant said Sunday on Instagram, shortly after the opening of the NBA free-agent market, that he is signing a max contract with the Brooklyn Nets. The max deal, in this case, would be four years and about $164 million (all dollars U.S.). Durant could have signed for five years and $221 million with the Golden State Warriors if he stayed with them.
