Police were kept busy in Dunedin over the weekend. In just 40 minutes, 20 drivers were nabbed for not wearing seatbelts or using their cellphones at a Dunedin checkpoint. The driver, who was also breaching extensive supervision conditions, was held in custody to appear in the Dunedin District Court on Monday. He was charged with drink-driving, unlawfully taking motor vehicle, driving while forbidden and dangerous driving. He said it was disappointing some drivers were choosing to be ''bloody idiots''.
