Photo / ODTA Dunedin rapist who inadvertently outed himself on Facebook remains a high risk and will stay in prison. Nyal Heke, 33, was midway through an 11-year jail term when he appeared before the Parole Board last month. Panel convener Judge Michael Crosbie said the Christchurch Men's Prison inmate had nearly completed the adult sex offender programme. Heke was assessed as above average or high risk of further sexual offending and a high risk of violent crimes. The Parole Board said some planning had to be put into Heke's case which could mean a transfer to another jail.
