Palmerston's Courtney Duncan has bounced back from injury to record another win in the women’s motocross world championship. Riding a Yamaha, Duncan finished ahead of Italy's Kiara Fontanesi (Honda) and The Netherlands' Nancy Van De Ven (Yamaha), Duncan (20) was victorious in the first race of the Switzerland round this weekend. The accident left Duncan needing corrective surgery on her left hand. While her championship prospects are long gone, she returned to racing this weekend and gave the motocross world a reminder of her talent in Frauenfeld.
