A FLEET of abandoned taxis in the busy Chow Kit area of Kuala Lumpur has worsened the parking problem of office workers and other motorists. Yeap Cheng Hoe, who said he worked in the area, claimed the taxis had been left in the parking lots on Jalan 1/64A for more than a year. “I come here daily as my office is nearby, and I realised that these taxis have been in the parking bays for over a year now. Since then, the taxis have been left in the parking lots.”Yeap said some of the office workers in Chow Kit had to drive around for some time before finding a vacant parking bay. Imagine having to find a parking spot, not just the workers but also customers.”ACTIONLINE:Kuala Lumpur City Hall public relations officer Hassan Azhari Abu Bakar said City Hall was just informed of the problem.
