ONE of the suspects in the murder of Dumaguete broadcaster and blocktimer Mercedario “Dindo” Generoso, has been placed on the immigration lookout list, according to the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS). “I immediately requested Justice Secretary Menard Guevarra, our PTFoMS chairman, to direct the Bureau of Immigration to issue a Look-Out Bulletin Order. Generoso was killed by riding-in-tandem gunmen while driving his brown Hyundai Elantra on his way to his radio program on Bai Radio. Generoso worked at dyEM FM Bai Radio as an anchor for development programs of the local government, including a controversial reclamation project that was halted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). His radio program in Bai Radio is sponsored by the city government of Dumaguete as an extension of its public information office.
