Our Special CorrespondentDum Dum: A house in Dum Dum was robbed early on Saturday, police said. Gita Mondal, 36, who lives on the ground floor of the house in the Rajendranagar Mathkal locality in south Dum Dum with her husband and son, was apparently pushed to the floor by the thief while fleeing, the police quoted Mondal as saying in the complaint. A relative's son, Kiron Chakrabarty, was sleeping in an adjoining room on the ground floor, Mondal said. Her husband Sukumar is an employee at Dum Dum airport and their son is a BCom student. Her husband and son came running alerted by her screams but could not find anyone, even on the road, an officer of Dum Dum police station where Mondal filed the complaint said.
