Ducsu polls: Co-existence continues for second day

The Bangladesh Chhatra League along with BNP’s student wing Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal and all the leftist student wings who apparently remained off from political activities in DU campus for nine years, gathered at the historic Madhur canteen for second day as part of co-existence and cordiality. While reading out a written statement President of Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS) Rakib Sirazi said: “We will not be with them who make their panel with anti-Liberation forces. A group of leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal gathered at the Madhur canteen at 11:30am for second day and demanded to ensure this congenial atmosphere permanently not only for Ducsu polls claiming such an atmosphere is yet to exist in the dormitories. Chhatra Dal Central President Rajib Ahsan and General Secretary Akramul Hasan, DU unit President Al Mehedi Talukder, General Secretary Bashar Siddique and 15 to 20 more activists took position at the canteen for more than two hours.
