Prof Mizanur said: "Another meeting will be held on January 14 and student organizations will submit the rest of their recommendations regarding the amendment of the Ducsu constitution there, as today’s meeting was too short for such a vital issue." The Ducsu constitution was last amended in 1998. They also recommended the creation of the post of secretary of Students’ Welfare and Rights, as the Ducsu constitution currently does not have section on the rights and welfare of students.
