A fresh breath of optimism swept over the Dublin senior camogie team this season. The former Dublin full-back, John Treacy, was installed as manager, alongside experienced co-pilot, Willie Braine. Last Sunday in Coolock, Dave Dunning wore the bib as Dublin began their Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship campaign against Tipperary. Dublin began like the City Express. Galway are defending the O'Duffy Cup and are hoping for a Christmas visit to the capital to see the Croke Park lights.
