Mumbai: A plane carrying the mortal remains of actress Sridevi landed in Mumbai on Tuesday night, over 72 hours after she died in a hotel room in Dubai. Dubai authorities on Tuesday released the body after determining that Sridevi had drowned in the hotel bathtub following loss of consciousness on Saturday evening. "Dubai Public Prosecution has approved the release of the body of the Indian actress Sridevi to her family following the completion of a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of her death," the Dubai government's media office said in a series of tweets. "Dubai Public Prosecution stressed that all regular procedures followed in such cases have been completed. Actor Arjun Kapoor, Boney's son from his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor, flew to Dubai on Tuesday morning to be with his father.
