The Jubilee team will be led by Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi. The Jubilee side says it will start public hearings even if Cord does not present its 11-member team today. After the Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting at State House last week, President Uhuru Kenyatta nominated senators Kiraitu Murungi (Meru), Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Beatrice Elachi (nominated) and Fatuma Dullo (nominated). National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale will this afternoon table before the Speaker the names of 11 members of the Joint Parliamentary Committee tasked with resolving the IEBC stalemate. Already ODM MPs have poked holes into the Uhuru list of 11, opposing Kuria’s inclusion in the talks.
