A police inspector has been taken into custody after accidentally killing a man in the Karmo area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The cop whose name could not be immediately ascertained, was said to be drunk when the incident happened last Saturday. The FCT police spokesperson, SP Mariam Yusuf, confirmed the development, adding that the police inspector would face orderly room trial and prosecution. Meanwhile, the police in Abuja have arrested eight suspected kidnappers along Shengwu-Tunga Maje, Gwagwalada, Kabusa village and Durumi axis. The command also arrested members of another kidnap gang operating along Gwagwalada and Kabusa village axis.
