Three students were arrested and a security guard tackled an unruly patron into a crowd at yesterday's one-day match between New Zealand and England in Dunedin. But Senior Sergeant Mark Donaldson said most in the crowd enjoyed the action without incident. The man - who appeared to be in his early 20s - initially evaded a Red Badge security guard's tackle, but was then chased back into the crowd on the embankment. The security guard caught the man halfway up the embankment and tackled him heavily to the ground, crashing into another group of spectators as he did so. As the young man was removed from the ground, a middle-aged man remonstrated with police about the security guard's handling of the incident, which occurred near young children.
