A Calgary man is accused of a drunk driving crash that killed a 61-year-old man who was riding a bicycle near the McKenzie Meadows Golf Club in August. Just after 8 p.m., the truck pulled out of the golf club parking lot into the eastbound lanes of McKenzie Meadows Drive S.E. Police believe the truck crossed over into the westbound lanes, where it struck Perez, who died on the road. Celic and her now-husband quickly organized a small, intimate event and were married two weeks before Perez was killed by an alleged drunk driver.
