Tragedy struck on Eid as Satish Chitrapal, 50, shot his neighbour in the Dadri area of Greater Noida. Chitrapal, who is a serving Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), is believed to have been drunk when he shot his neighbour Baldev Yadav, 45, at around 10 pm on Monday. Police have arrested the CPRF officer, seized his service revolver, and sent him to judicial custody. When Yadav tried to warn him of the dangers he was playing with, he got shot. My father came out of the house to check and saw Chitrapal firing with his service revolver.
