The raids took place over nine days early this month and led to 18 arrests. Five organised crime groups were targeted and the drugs seized included cocaine, heroin, crack cocaine, cannabis and counterfeit prescription tablets, officers said. Drugs with a street value of more than £2.7 million and a “mobile drug production laboratory” in a van were found at one location. The van had a hydraulic press, moulds and bulking agents inside.
