SAN PEDRO CITY – An illegal drug suspect was killed after shooting it out with the police in General Trias City in Cavite province, the police on Thursday said. A report from the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (Calabarzon) police said the slain suspect, identified only as “MJ,” tried to sell suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P1,000 to an undercover policeman around 5 p.m. Wednesday in Sitio (sub-village) Sampalucan, Barangay (village) Pasong Camachile 2. During the transaction, the suspect suddenly drew out his .38 caliber gun and shot the policemen twice but missed, the police report claimed.
