A drug suspect was killed in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Tondo, Manila on Sunday. Authorities identified the suspect only as alias “Buknoy.” The operation, led by PSI Alfred V. Tan Jr., was conducted in Barangay 20, Pier 2, Parola Compound in Tondo. ADVERTISEMENTBased on the police report, the suspect noticed that the ‘buyer,’ PO1 Jerry Saratobias, was a police officer and immediately pulled out a caliber 9mm pistol and shot Saratobias. Saratobias, however, dodged the shot and fired back at the, who reportedly fell to the ground. He was immediately rushed to Gat Andres Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
