PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The provincial government on Wednesday afternoon will formally open a drug rehabilitation center inside the camp of the 401st Army Brigade in nearby Awa village here. Governor Adolph Edward Plaza will lead the inauguration of the Agusan del Sur Residential Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (RTRC) inside the headquarters of the 401st Infantry Brigade, complete with facilities and can accommodate at least 60 drug abuse patients. ADVERTISEMENTHe said the rehabilitation center is composed of a dormitory, administration building, toilet and bath rooms, mess hall, kitchen, employees’ sleeping quarters, a bleacher (reception area) tennis cum basketball court, a bahay kubo, counseling room, inspection area, and a clinic. Cane said the Army camp serving as drug rehabilitation center has been offered by President Rodrigo Duterte for government agencies and local government units to use to address the growing number of drug addicts who yielded to the police nationwide.
