A drug suspect died in a shootout with Anti-Illegal Drug operatives of Masambong Police Station (PS2) along Pat Senador St., corner West Riverside in Barangay Del Monte, Quezon City Saturday. The operatives led by PCI Erwin Guevarra conducted a buy-bust operation against Jesus Jonas a.k.a Jessie Hudas where a policeman posed as a drug buyer. However, in the middle of the transaction, the suspect sensed the presence of the policemen, drew his handgun and fired. A brief gunfire ensued resulting in his death. Recovered from the suspect were 10 plastic sachets of shabu, one caliber .45 pistol and the buy-bust money.
