Four alleged members of a drug network operated by two prison inmates were arrested and 84,000 speed pills seized. Ms Nongkharn had previously been sentenced to two years and nine months in jail for possessing 24,000 speed pills in 2013. When police opened the covers on the jars they found 42 packages containing 84,000 speed pills inside. She told police that her husband Shinnabut Boonmak, 35, was being held in Phrae Prison on drug charges and had purchased drugs from Khampan Nawaponpitak, an inmate at the same prison. Ms Nongkharn had visited her jailed husband Shinnabut and got to know relatives of Mr Khampan during family visits to the prison.
