(Nujaree Raekrun)NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A woman was seriously injured when her drug-addicted son beat her with his bicycle in Tha Sala district on Sunday night, police said. Pol Sr Sgt Maj Suthisak Jehwang said they were called to a house at Moo 7 village in tambon Tha Sala about 8pm. A blood-soaked woman, Ropicha Bailae, 65, was being tended by neighbours when the police arrived. Eyewitnesses told police her son, Somchai Sante, inflicted the damage.
