Rizwan Ali, 26, was driving at almost 60mph when he hit 65-year-old care home worker Colin Olawumi on August 18, 2018 in Bolton, Lancashire. Judge Graeme Smith criticised Ali for his initial efforts to fight the case and his attempts to shift the blame onto Mr Olawumi, traumatising the dead man’s family for 18 months. He posted a picture on his Instagram account next to a £280,000 Lamborghini Aventador with the caption ‘flyingggg!’ just days after the fatal crash.
