Drop in values could signal deceleration in house prices


A slight drop in property values in New Plymouth could be the first sign that months of accelerating prices may be starting to ease, Taranaki realtors say. Nationwide house prices increased by 1.8 per cent in June, a drop on the 2.2 per cent growth rate of the previous month, figures released by CoreLogic House Price Index on Thursday show.
