EDMONTON—A Saturday night Edmonton traffic collision turned deadly after a police officer shot and killed a driver involved. The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) is investigating after Edmonton police were called to a two-vehicle crash near 66 Street and 123 Avenue Saturday around 9:45 p.m.ASIRT is investigating after a man was shot dead following a police chase in Edmonton Saturday. When officers arrived and approached the suspected stolen vehicle, there was some kind of altercation between the driver and the officers where one of the officers shot the driver. The driver and a passenger inside the other vehicle involved in the cash were also unharmed. When the driver pulled over near 107 Avenue and 98 Street, officers parked behind the car and approached the man.
