Alexander Okere, BeninOne person was on Thursday killed when a truck rammed into a commercial car at Obarenren community in the Ovia South-West Local Government Area of Edo State. It was also learnt that the deceased, who was the driver of the car and identified as one John Inebiomanor, died instantly while a passenger was injured. The truck was said to have collided with the car, marked Edo BEN 539 JN, in the process and caused the car to somersault. It was learnt that the body of the deceased driver was removed from the mangled vehicle by some residents in the area. A source in the area, who did not want to be named, wondered why the truck driver could not avoid the pothole, since he was a regular user of the road.
