Photo : BSSKHULNA, April 6, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested a driver and seized a private car in connection with the death of a student of Khulna University in a road accident in the city. The deceased, Moumita Halder, was a Master's student of the Law Discipline at Khulna University. Following the incident, the victim's father filed a case on the next day with Khulna Sadar Police Station. Acting on the findings, police recovered the blue Toyota private car from a garage behind Coronation School in the city on April 3, around 12:05 pm. Ahad Sheikh Saikat, 26, from the northern gate area of Hadis Park under Khulna Sadar Police Station at around 6:05 pm on April 5.
