A vehicle, believed to have been stolen, hangs precariously over the railings of the Porter River bridge in Canterbury after a crash on Saturday morning. A driver tried to flee after crashing through the side of a bridge near Castle Hill in Canterbury. A police spokeswoman said the crash happened on the Porter River bridge (State Highway 73) about 10am on Saturday. "[It appears the man was being spoken to in relation to a stolen vehicle."
